The Parable Apprentice is a novella about a fourteen-year-old girl uncovering her talent accidentally or what she thinks to be accidental.
Are the things we do and the places we end up accidental?
For God, nothing is accidental.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

No, I did not accidentally write The Parable Girl and it was not an accident that you are reading this. It was not an accident that Faith ends up in a line of young hopefuls to become the next parable apprentice.
Prior to her teacher recommending Faith to take a chance out of thousands of prospects to work for The Parable Girl (she owns Another Realm Studios) Faith has never heard of the person nor the name. She has to look up on her phone what a parable is. And yet God chooses her. Isn’t that how God works?
God doesn’t pick the most qualified for the job. He doesn’t choose the best speaker; he doesn’t always choose the biggest or tallest or the most attractive. But why?
Is it because God wants us to know we are special in our own way? Is it because He doesn’t follow a Hollywood type? Or is it because He wants us to know He values us and we are significant no matter how we look, where we come, what we have and who we know.
The answer is all of the above.
That is why God is not accidental. He has a purpose, a plan, a distinct destiny for your life.
“What is my purpose?”
God has called me to awaken others to their purpose. In my second book, The Parable Girl is searching for a young protege. I compare it to Elijah and Elisha from the Bible.
Faith goes on a roller-coaster journey, facing physical challenges and spiritual riddles to unmask if she is the one for the job and just like a parable has a double meaning; to build her confidence and for the assignment God has for her to be revealed.
Just like Faith, God has an assignment for you to carry out. Ponder what you are doing now. Think over the passion you have welled inside. Are you fulfilling that passion? What is stopping you?
